About

Hello!
I’m Amber Williams.

My Story…

In October, 2021 life changed dramatically for me when I became a widow in my late-40s. Carl, my husband of 13 years, was gone and I mourned.

I hadn’t planned for an independent life at this point. We had a marriage where we depended on each other for support, understanding, and growth. Who was I going to depend on for those things now?

As time has moved forward (regardless of my attempts at stopping it), I have grown in my new role as a widowed, single woman, and I have been reinventing my life.

Life, Reinvented

Let’s back up a few years.

Since 2004, I have been a Registered Nurse. That part of my story started in 2001, before I knew Carl and while I was teaching English in Mozambique.

I returned to the US with the intention of becoming a nurse so I could return to Africa. In 2006, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend five months in Zimbabwe working in two mission hospitals.

Throughout my nursing career, I have worked with the adult and pediatric populations, mostly in oncology.

I became a Nurse Educator in 2017 and worked at an academic cancer hospital for almost six years.

Inspired in Mozambique

As part of my reinvented life, I resigned from my hospital job, started a business, sold our home, bought a new house and moved to a different city.
All in one year.

The Golden Graph was initially started as a writing and photography business. While I wanted to help others write their own stories, I realized that I really wanted to help them transform their lives!

I made a few adjustments, and now The Golden Graph exists to fulfill my mission of helping people find hope, healing, and recovery.

That happens through coaching: asking questions; helping you dig a little deeper into your story; and supporting you as you make the changes you desire for your life.

Every person has a story.
Every story has a path.

Using your goals, I’ll support you on that path.
